Review on Reliable 200SE Ergonomic Adjustable Adjustment by Vicki Lane

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly what I was looking for!

When my eldest son moved out, I turned his bedroom into a sewing and knitting room. My husband built me a nice sewing table for my sewing machine and serger, but now I needed a good chair to sit on. For many years I used a cheap office chair that had no backrest and was very uncomfortable. I wanted something better but couldn't justify spending over $200. Who would have thought that custom dining room chairs could cost $300-400. or more! I looked at office chairs but many of them have armrests and I didn't feel they would provide enough support to sit in front of a sewing machine for hours. The chair is made of high quality materials. The fabric is durable and soft, and the seat cushion is very comfortable. While the backrest provides adequate lumbar support, it's not intrusive. It allows you to easily adjust the seat height and backrest angle. The only thing I don't like is that it has glides instead of wheels. My husband tore up the dirty old carpet in the room and put in a new laminate floor. The chair can slide from car to car; however, it does not move as easily as if it had wheels. I don't know how well it moves on carpeted floors. A key selling point for me was that it was made in Canada, not China! It's nice to buy well-made imports instead of cheap ones!
