This is a great trimmer - I'm new to shaving and trimming and I've noticed that my Norleco Aquatec razor (a great razor btw) leaves some long hairs - no fault of the shavers , he's just not made for grooming hair like that! However, I have noticed that the beard trimmer attachment cuts the hair close enough to shave off with a razor. I've recently decided to use a trimmer for regular grooming and a shaver when I need a little extra help. I wanted a tool that was specifically designed for trimming and this trimmer fitted the bill - solid construction, good name (choice), good reviews. Pros: - Sturdy construction - Fits snugly (meets my needs) - Holds a load well. Cons: - I prefer the Norelco comb shape - the Norelco teeth are rounded and seem a little further apart. This helps me not to "pull" since my beard is quite thick. Choosing teeth get sharper and if I shave at the wrong speed it gets a bit uncomfortable. However, I will continue to use this trimmer for its good construction, simplicity and battery life. UPDATE: I have used this product multiple times and as I mentioned in the original review, it twitches regularly. Battery life remains good, but I don't use this device very often due to stuttering.
