GOOD TO KNOW

I used to buy a high quality grass pattern plastic tablecloth with stitched edges, a slightly rough texture and a slightly matte reverse side. , a kind of medium-heavy, but still inexpensive half-way tablecloth. I was looking for the same item and it looked close in the photo. While this serves the current purpose (weeding effect for the candy buffet during Willy Wonka's 8 year party), it's not the quality I was hoping for, although it's probably about what you should expect at this low price point. Facts: • It's very thin plastic, about the same quality as a plastic tablecloth from a dollar store. You pay a few dollars extra for the grass picture. • Despite being very thin, the print is light and dense enough not to show through. • There is a VERY noticeable yellow line that runs roughly every two feet across the width of the tablecloth, basically wherever the main pattern repeats. For any event where you want a more sophisticated look, this would be a deal breaker. For a Super Bowl party or a children's event, this might not be a problem. • The grass is a nice light green with good texture, but the grass strands on the print are very small - if you just want the "grass feel" - fine. Whether as a prop for a small model or trying to create an artificial grass or greenery effect, it's amazing. However, if you want it to look like real leaf grass, that's not realistic. • Strong smell of plastic. Non-toxic - more like unrolling a raft or a bouncy ball - but again not ideal for a high-end event, so you might want to get some air for something like that.
