So this is a good all round mount; it would be nice if it was designed to be mounted from any panel, it would be better. Currently the design is such that it mounts to a horizontal or vertical surface. If your mounting surface is at an angle, I don't think it matters. However, the current design does not allow the camera to pan/tilt properly if the mounting surface is not vertical or horizontal. I solved it with double sided tape. Holes could be drilled. or other solution but it would be nice if the design was more versatile. works great, slim design, servos are well placed so they don't hang around; good use of space to optimize the small footprint.
