I've been watching this ring for a few years. Something always stopped me from ordering it and that should have been enough. I finally bought the ring and it arrived surprisingly quickly. I was expecting a heavy ring with lots of glitter on the surface and details that were difficult to make out. It's certainly shiny, highly polished, and the details require careful squinting – not deducting a star here, as I expected – but the ring isn't very heavy. The upper part is hollow, which makes the ring lighter and therefore cheaper to manufacture. Let's be realistic about the fact that this ring costs $14 - not enough to deduct a star. Apart from other issues this would have been 5 stars but the inside edge of the ring where the hollow area starts was not finished and remained sharp and razor sharp. Put the ring on your finger and you will feel the tingly lip. If the user twists the ring, hits it, or removes it in the wrong direction, a nasty cut will result. I don't expect a lot of quality control on a cheap ring but at least I expect it to be safe to use and not cut my finger. 1 star for security risk - buy at your own risk or prepare to filing the inside if you can reach it (I couldn't! so it's garbage) wasn't finished and stayed sharp, so razor sharp.
