Review on 🐶 Organic Milk Thistle for Dogs and Cats by Herbsmith – Liver Support Supplement Made in USA by Stacey Veeramachaneni

I have a 15 lb Maltese/Chihuahua with liver and heart disease. The vet prescribed Denamarin for his liver. I did a little research. I don't have a veterinary background, but I am a registered nurse and was able to analyze the ingredients. Herb Smith Milk Thistle is organic and easy to use. I add ¼ teaspoon to it for breakfast and dinner. I then give Doctor's Best Sam-e 200 mg in the evening with a small snack to help the pill fall asleep. Doctor's Best Sam-e is for humans and comes in a sealed enteric-coated blister pack that you remove with each dose. It should not be administered with food. I only gave one box of Denamarin and then switched to Herb Smith and Sam-e. He was diagnosed with liver disease in July 2019 and is still here with me. Note: Even if your dog's liver is healthy, taking milk thistle temporarily after vaccinations, heartworm and flea treatments for detoxification is useful.
