This is a good setup for us now with my 8 month old baby. However, out of the box the panels were very dirty, which is frustrating as there are tons of little grooves to clean. It's no fun spending money on a brand new item - I could buy one of these from the FB marketplace if I wanted to put the time and energy into cleaning it up, which as a mom I don't have in abundance. . The gate is a great feature, and it has a lock that won't open it, although it does wiggle a bit when opening and sometimes requires two hands, which can be tricky when you're holding a child. I'm also concerned about the integrity of the panels as it looks like the box sat with something crumpled on one side - all the panels are warped on one side and bent on the other. It's not that flashy, but having a brand new non-cheap thing that doesn't look brand new just bugs me. A final, small issue is that the white is more yellow than white, making it look old rather than clean and new to me. I have a feeling they might be great and I just received a piece of junk that has been sitting under something heavy in the back of a warehouse for six years. Assembly was easy and I love the non-slip pads that you can stick to the bottom to keep them in place. I also love that I can attach toys to the sides!
