I was disappointed that it's more purple than pink but still beautiful. What surprised me was the quality of the leather. Most of the "natural" skin is split, very thin, but it's not. This I believe is a complete grain. If not, this is a good thickness of upper. This is a pretty good bag. I have to admit that the back pocket isn't big enough which is disappointing but this can be solved in other ways. I've had the update for about a week. I can say one thing, the functionality is excellent. When you open this top you can see your bag so clearly. You can carry your stuff, but you don't have to rummage around blindly. More bags and backpacks should have this design. In addition, the straps and the balance of the bag are very useful for carrying. It is very comfortable. Update, I found the pulls a bit fiddly and time consuming so I'm keeping them aside and adding a wallet pull. This adds beauty and greatly speeds up unzipping/archiving. I really live with this bag. I have some wallets in line again.
