A little background: I've never had sensitive skin. A bit dry at times, but that was rare, too. I was able to use any product out of the box and it worked 95% of the time. That was until I tried Neutrogena's Deep Clean and it completely destroyed my skin. Within two days I developed a bright red, scaly, itchy rash from my cheeks down. Everything and everyone burned down. Gentle moisturizers, gentle soaps, even water. I couldn't get close to my face. And that made me erupt. My face erupted in 100 mini-volcanoes in a sea of scaly skin - well damn, now what? An intense search for Revain ensued and I finally settled on this product and I can tell you it is a life saver. This was the only product that didn't burn my very irritated skin. The rash cleared up quickly (within 24 hours) as did the pimples - I'm happy to say I no longer look like a monster from childhood dreams. Afterwards your skin will be silky, smooth, clean and well moisturized. I tend to have oily skin and have never had an issue with excess sebum so this is a plus if you have combination skin like me. Although it is unscented, it has a very light baby scent. to. Overall I am very happy with this cleaner. It's good for acne, mild enough to use on eye makeup, and makes your skin softer than a baby's bottom.
