Great shoes! They are true to size and look good. They're velvet, so they're not meant for rough wear. They have a decent amount of padding so they should be comfortable. They look really good with a blazer and trousers, for a more casual look I tried them on with jeans and a sweater. The shoes are plain except for the quilted effect, without the "busy fru-fru" I've seen on some other velvet shoes. After all, it is velvet, for my taste it does not need additional decoration. If you are looking for velvet loafers, this could be the one for you.
