We bought this costume for our almost 5 year old to wear on the red carpet and it was great! He's a little guy so we ordered 3T and 4T for comparison as he's now transitioning to 4T clothes. That's why we chose 3T. The pants were big. However, since they have an adjustable waistband (hooray!), we were able to make them fit. Otherwise it fits perfectly and looks so pretty! Our only issue might be the adjustable tie. I've never tried it on him so it's probably fine, but it was difficult to find a part to adjust and then it kept coming loose. However, this is a small inconvenience for us. We definitely recommend this costume if you're looking for something pretty that won't break the bank.
