These aren't necessarily direct OEM replacements, but they're close enough for me. I needed two front signals and had two rear ones so I could compare mine and the originals. They don't have a DOT marking. There is no metal rod/stick longer than the stems like the originals. The lenses are bright orange, not the dark smoky orange of my taillights. They look fine on my bike though, with the smoky OEM on the back and these light ones on the front. If you are wondering how to connect this to your Kawasaki Ninja 500 or need the pins or wires for these signals read this conclusion: You will need to cut the red wire harness for the front turn signals currently on the motorcycle under the left one front fairing (there is no need to remove the fairing - at least in my case). You will then need to solder it to the Ninja's wires or otherwise connect it to the turn signals with the following colors: * Black and white stripe (turn signal wire) - connect it to the bike's common ground, which is black and yellow * Red (reverse signal wire ) ) - Connect to gray (for right turn signal) or green (for left turn signal). * Black (Turn Signal Wire) - Connect to Red and Blue (for running lights). If this wiring does not turn on your daytime running lights but the turn signals work, check the instrument panel lights to troubleshoot. If they don't light up, a navigation light fuse has probably blown. It took me too long to figure it out on my own, but with a soldering iron and blinkers you should be able to knock it out in an hour. You don't have to remove any fairings as you can pull the wiring harness out through the "opening" in the fairing or under the fairing.
