Review on ๐Ÿ’ค AngQi Cooling Pregnancy Body Pillow - Maternity Pillow for Pregnant Women - Full Support with Cool Jersey Cover by Heather Johnson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not for everyone. Trial and error method.

I'm about 5'7" tall, weigh 144# before pregnancy but gained about 170# after pregnancy. I am almost 33 weeks old. This pillow is really very thick; but HUGE. It had great padding and quality but with velvety velor which for me meant my tummy slipped off as I didn't have enough friction to keep it on the pillow. I also found it too warm. Maybe I should have gone for a cotton jersey instead. Unfortunately, I think trial and error is the only way to choose the right pregnancy pillow. Get ready to try out some pillows by buying and returning them at Revain or in-store. I had to return it when I realized I needed abdominal support the most and I couldn't get it to work. I had horrible pain in my ribs from pregnancy and getting proper support didn't help. too high? Too hot, too slippery. I've tried sleeping with it in both a U-shape (with my head on my own pillow) and an inverted U (head on an AngQi pillow). It was nice to turn around without rearranging a few pillows, I'll admit. In any case, I had to go back. So now I'm wearing a rolled up towel with an elastic band on my back again. but I have a small wedged belly pillow and it stays in place! Hooray! And it fits my queen bed better than a large U-shaped pillow. I'm only writing this because I want people to know that it's difficult to put a backup together if you decide to return it (was vacuum packed) and that I was wrong in expecting a pad to tick all the boxes ticks. One pillow can't be everything for everyone, no matter how wonderful it may seem. (Yes I know)
