Review on ๐Ÿช‘ Lotusville Vintage PU Leather Counter Height Stools by Roundhill Furniture: Antique Brown, Set of 2 by Debbie Daly

EXCELLENT stool. but ABSOLUTELY PAIN IN THE BACK ASSEMBLY

So I really like these stools - I bought a set of 8. and product replacement insurance for $12 for 2 stools. For the price I only wish it hadn't taken most of the day to put 8 chairs together otherwise I would have given them 5 stars. When assembled the chairs are comfortable, stylish, with clean contrast stitching and generally look solid. And just in case, I'm glad I insured the furniture anyway. Continue reading. But what a PAIN IN PA-HERE COME TOGETHER! . The black coating is done after welding/machining (both on the threads) and on the bolts their own threads are CRAZY! This (powder?) coating/painting causes almost every one of the mounting bolts to want to skip thread every time, so the best way I found for a disaster-free build was to put each bolt in each of its nuts/machined threads to screw . - without trying to assemble the parts - then undo the screws and blow away the black dirt. Then assemble the parts with pre-checked and clean threaded bolts. Some of this slowed things down, but even with no other parts trying to misalign/tighten the screws, it was worth building all 8 chairs cleanly. Another feature of these stools are the floor rails/gliders - on one of the mounting straps they are not fully aligned. but they're passable - meaning that alongside the need to really test what problems their manufacturing approach to the black finish causes when assembled - the quality control of the production of this piece of chairs could be better taken care of.
