This is my first time using a weighted blanket - I've searched a lot to find one that is breathable and not too hot as my husband and I tend to get along with almost everyone Blanket we have to overheat. I wasn't sure about this particular blanket as there weren't many reviews but I liked the idea of the temperature controlled bamboo plus the bluish gray color looked nice. beautiful, high quality and - yes - breathable. We bought an 86" x 92" king bed for £15 and it fits our full size bed very well (we tuck it under the duvet). While the duvet feels VERY heavy in the box, the weight distribution feels just perfect for 2 people and allows you to move around freely. The color is gorgeous, exactly as pictured, and the triangular stitching that holds the beads in place feels VERY solid. (You don't feel individual beads, but rather a comfortable weight.) Most importantly, we never overheated in this blanket; I'm not saying this would be perfect for hot summers but it is by far the most breathable quilt we have currently and would work great with some layered quilts in the colder months. As a first time user of the weighted blanket, I'm happy to report that I'm sleeping better with it! To be honest, just stepping under it gives you such a nice feeling of comfort. I'm glad I bought the 15lbs because they offer the perfect weight - they're not restrictive and allow you to move/turn over in bed fairly easily. 10/10 definitely recommend.
