This bag is great, I use it for everything and it's the perfect size. Not too big, not too small and comfortable to wear. I mainly use this bag for daily use at the gym. I was tired of carrying a gym bag with me, it kept falling off my shoulder and hitting my hip, it seemed like I had a wallet (I'm a man). The backpack is much more comfortable, I have both hands free and don't have to constantly strain to hold it on my shoulder. The only thing I don't like about the backpack is that it doesn't sit on a bench, it kind of falls over and it's harder to put things in it than in a gym bag. At the bottom there is a compartment for shoes. But I've found that I rarely use this and just put my shoes in the main compartment. They were just easier to put on, they were a little tighter at the bottom. The middle compartment has a couple of small pockets inside that are great for my wallet and phone and other medium sized accessories. Headphones, lock etc. fit in the smallest compartment. And of course the two side pockets are great for water bottles. I also use it to carry tennis rackets but the handles protrude at the top. I've used it as a personal item on planes and it's a good size, fits in front of the seat in front of you and holds everything you need on the trip. I use it on vacation to take to the beach, it has enough different compartments to put my wet swimsuit in and I don't have to worry about everything else getting wet.
