It's good to replace the burned out kit, but wait until then.

So I installed them on a 2006 Jeep Wrangler with an aftermarket H4 headlamp kit. I had Hella 55W / 85W lamps there. I'd love to take before and after photos for all the lights, but I was too excited about these lights. All right: bright in the low beam. They really light it up with a bright white color. Even brighter than IMO my Hella. This kit contains two (2) low beam LED strips. Great, great. An additional (1) bar at the top will now illuminate when high beam is selected. Adding an anemic amount of light to the near beam to project further. In the low beam it has LED lights, but in the high beam my Hellas had it well diffused forward with the extra power - again, IMO. I have a light meter. I think it would be great to test out the patterns seen at 50 and 150 feet. Who is interested in funding a research project? I was distracted. Now one of the problems is to attach the block to the back of the lens with a spring. I'm still worried that the device will fall out due to the external weight. It's not and I'm glad. Just fitting this clip around the cooling fins was an art so I recommend if you can fit them into the headlight from the OUTSIDE of the car. Then immediately insert the WHO unit into the machine. I think it would give me more peace of mind when driving down the street. Bottom line, would I do it again? Of course. but I keep my Hellas in the glove box in case one breaks down. Then I will run the Hellas until they die before I buy another set of these LEDs. If you're replacing for burnout, I'll talk cool. If you are replacing your high beam to improve it, stick with others or find a set of LEDs that will give you more power.
