Uses much cheaper label rolls than Brother QL Series Label Printers

which can cost anywhere from $15 to $30 or more per roll, which quickly adds up when you're printing hundreds a month. With the new Brother TD-2120N you can use any standard roll up to 2.48 inches wide and up to 5 inches in diameter or even fanfold labels through the rear slot. These regular rolls can cost anywhere from $1 to $5 each which is much cheaper than rolls used in the Brother QL series printers, this alone makes the printer a great value for those who print a lot of labels Gap sensor that detects the gap between labels by shining light through the labels, or a black mark sensor that detects black marks on the back of labels (the distance between the black mark and the edge of the label can be set in the printer settings). ). This label printer is very fast with up to 6 inches per second. The printer also has a "Print" button that can be set to print the label you use frequently. I set mine to print a return address label so when I need it it's just a push of a button. I like it too. To extend the functionality you can add some add-ons (Label Peeler, LCD/Keyboard, Battery, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth) and get a remover with the printer. My only criticism of the cleaner is that it should have a tear-off edge, as the printer itself has to tear off the label backing that has been peeled off, when you're done you have to cut it off with scissors. My only complaint about the label maker is that it would be nice if it had 300 dpi like most in the QL series, given the much higher price point I'd expect at least the same 300 dpi as a model that's around six times as good costs less, but it's only 203 dpi. . The 2139 prints at 300 dpi but is a lot more expensive and since I only print mailing labels I don't need the extra resolution. The difference between the three models in this series is that the TD-2020 only connects via USB or serial and does not support any hardware add-ons. The TD-2120N offers network connectivity and the ability to add any add-ons. The TD-2130N is similar to the TD-2120N but has a resolution of 300 dpi instead of 203 dpi. I got the TD-2120N because I wanted an air purifier but didn't need the higher resolution TD-2130N.
