The chain itself was very nice. I had to place my aunt's ashes in the necklace's tiny shaft myself, which was very difficult both emotionally and functionally. The tiny funnel attached to the necklace was so tiny that it was very difficult for me to force the ash through the tiny hole. I ended up using tweezers and a pin (included) to do this. I had to make it myself as I couldn't afford the $100 necklace for the funeral home etc. I bought 3 of this style, 4 of another style and 3 of the engraved pieces. I made them as keepsakes for my mom (my aunt's sister, my two sisters, my son and other nieces and nephews).
