I love the different color and brightness settings. This lamp easily illuminates my daughter's medium-sized room. The shapes are clear and interesting to look at. However, it's very noisy in spin mode, making a grinding/creaking noise on each full spin that honestly sounds like a fart. My daughter can sleep through it, but for me it's like an instrument of torture! I think anyone not younger would have a hard time falling asleep because of the noise. However, it is almost perfect when using the default setting with no rotation.
