When I received the box it was torn (see picture) but the item didn't look damaged so it didn't matter much. The instructions are poorly written, but I attached the foot to the machine and checked - it doesn't work as advertised. The cutter moves up and down with the needle to cut the fabric, so it doesn't have enough contact with the fabric to cut it. It doesn't really feel like it's sharp enough to cut. At first I thought I might have installed it wrong, but I found a YouTube video and confirmed that I installed and used it correctly - it just doesn't work.
