Excellent stable stand. I made this for my wife, a teacher who now teaches face-to-face and hands-on at the same time. Since she has to stand a lot when teaching, we wanted the laptop to be on a stand so she doesn't have to be constantly bending over her desk. It worked! Advantages: Robust aluminum design. It doesn't look fragile at all. The metal design is beautiful. Others I've seen were made of hard plastic and always felt flimsy to me. Good stiff ankle tension - the tension at the joints where the stand bends and folds is firm and strong. I had to pull hard to unfold it and adjust it to the correct height. I personally prefer this. Laptops aren't cheap, and I'd rather have a stand that you have to pull to adjust than one that just folds and folds down. The flame design is functional. Flame design cutouts not only look beautiful, they also create holes. UNDER the laptop to allow room for airflow to keep the machine cool. Cons: (A little to be honest) Will tip over if the angle is wrong - this didn't surprise me as they mentioned it in the description when I bought it. When I set it up for the first time, I set the angle incorrectly. When setting up the laptop, it fell over, but I observed this and adjusted it so that it can stand on its own. Tilt if not at right angles. There was one angle that I liked, but that made the stand unstable and it leaned back. The only leg that could be folded would fix that. But not everyone will need it, depending on how they tilt the laptop. This is ideal for teachers, students (elementary school classes), office workers, or anyone who needs to pick up their devices. Overall this is a great solid stand. . Whether you need to free up space on your desk, raise it for your webcam or work, or any other purpose, this stand will help. It looks good, is made of good materials and works well. The price is great and I recommend it to everyone.
