These are pretty good 6500K LED bulbs. They are not the brightest on the market as there is a 15w 6500K LED bulb available from time to time detailed here on a Kyodoled Revain which is brighter. This one, made by Leson, claims an output of 1550 lumens, while Kyodoled only claims 1500 lumens, but my recent purchase of these Leson bulbs shows that they aren't as bright (or heavy - an indication of the size of the transformer inside) as Kyodoled -Light bulbs. Having bought all types of 6500K LED bulbs in the past, some direct from China on Aliexpress, my best guess is that a 13W 6500K LED bulb will be closer to 1250-1350 lumens. You need to find a 15w or more LED bulb to get 1500 lumens or more and they are really hard to come by. sold out again and not listed on Revain I will get them instead. My 6500K CFLs (which are also rated for tens of thousands of hours) have burned out one by one over the past three years and I'm slowly replacing them all with 6500K LEDs. rented house and they are MUCH BRIGHTER than the 2700K yellowish incandescent bulbs that are much more common. I'm used to bright white light and no longer like the slightly yellowish 5000K bulbs (which are also much more common and easier to find). Super white light like this should get in the way of your sleep but I didn't have any trouble sleeping and it's really nice to illuminate your home and see everything clearly and in its true colours. PS if you buy one of these new CFLs, CFLs or LEDs and think you are actually getting the tens of thousands of hours they claim I can sell you a bridge in Brooklyn. Basically, I'm happy when things work out of the box and don't burn out for a few days. What usually burns out isn't the LED chips, which are likely to have a lifespan of tens of thousands of hours, but the electronics in the base that convert the house's AC voltage to DC for those bulbs. Placing one of those CFLs or LED bulbs upside down in a ceiling box (which is my main use for them) will heat the electronics in the base more than they would in a vertical or well-ventilated outdoor spotlight. For example I have yet to replace one of my outdoor CFL lights including 2 in front of the house which turn on and stay on all night while my CFL canisters have burned out consecutively for the last 3 years. .
