When I first saw these little misty hand fans I thought they wouldn't work, especially on a hot day. That was some years ago. I bought my first because the price was cheap. What a huge surprise! They are amazing! Since then I haven't bought any fans other than these O2COOLs. They are powered by 1 AA battery which lasts a long time as the fan uses very little power. The fan part is made of something similar to neoprene, so the blades won't break when you carry it in your pocket or purse. Has an easy to fill water tank. The fan creates a powerful flow of air, so when you press the demist button, you get a feeling of freshness and coolness. Just bought 4 more of these to keep in multiple rooms and in the car during hot weather. Finally, make sure you get the O2COOL brand. Other brands that copy this design will not work either.
