I bought this to help with a tonsil stone problem that I have been struggling with for years. I needed an easier way to remove them and I've heard that an oral irrigator is the way to go. Don't try to point this thing at your tonsils, it will make you bleed instantly. As for the product, it's certainly fine for flossing etc, but beware, this thing is solid and powerful even in 'light' mode. I have healthy gums so I like the pressure there, there's just so much water coming out of my mouth you can hardly see what you're doing lol.
