Not used on the beach yet, but passed the fabric test with flying colors! I might be thinking of a small seal leak, but that could be because I opened it up! Will update review after use on the beach! TO UPDATE! TO UPDATE! So I had to narrow my review down to that big time. So it worked quite well for two days with light use on the beach. Neither water nor sand penetrated inside, even when it started to rain very heavily. But after three days at Disney, it started falling apart. The piece of plastic that the strap is attached to has almost peeled off and the bottom corner has now started to tear along the seam. I don't think I used it hard but I will say that I took it out of my hand many times and took pictures with my phone. So maybe that's it? Either way, I probably wouldn't buy it again unless they did some sort of upgrade. But if you don't plan on moving the bag around and keep it on your arm or neck most of the time you use it, you're fine.
