Review on Sew-Link Sensor Q Foot: Enhance Sewing Precision for Viking Husqvarna Designer SE and Designer SE Limited Edition by Shantel Griffin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I use my embroidery machines every day and this foot is perfect!

Okay, I have no idea what all the negative reviews are about. I hesitated to buy this leg! I AM SO HAPPY I MADE IT! I have Designer Diamond, Designer Topaz 50 and Designer Jade 35. This foot fits tall girls, Diamond and Topaz. I don't think it will fit my Jade 35. I don't know exactly - he came with a good foot. But my Diamond was a used machine and came with an R presser foot. If you have a Diamond and R foot you know how difficult it is to change the color of thread during a stitch - it's a pain. With the sensor foot q, it lifts just enough for you to thread the needle with the needle threader.* I think that's important. If you have a DEsigner topaz 50 or Designer diamond - there is a setting in the embroidery settings menu - this is the sewing foot setting you need to select in order to properly use the sensor q foot. I only know this because I bought the q-foot for my Topaz 50 at a local sewing gallery about a year ago, but since my husband is out of work and my small business is our only income. I really couldn't afford another 45 feet for my diamond. It's almost the same. That curmudgeon squeaks, lol. The real one never creaked. But that's all. The rest is exactly the same. I even tried machine oil - nothing helped. Spring. Still $12 versus $45
