Someone accidentally ripped off a piece of metal that was riveted to the internal valve. The piece of metal came with the product in the package so good otherwise I would have smoked. I expect this nonsense from ebay, but Amazon usually treats their sellers very well. I could understand if a piece of metal falls down, I would say that sometimes things fall down. But no, the metal part is riveted to the book and small pieces of the cover are still sticking out. Somehow it passed quality control. Other than that, I hate giving this one 1 star because it's actually pretty cool. The only thing I don't like is that the 3 ring binder makes an indentation on the lid. So I would like to give 4 stars. Time for crafts! I actually took pictures but gotta get back to work l8r
