After reading the reviews after I bought them and seeing negative comments about broken glass I was concerned. However, everything went well. Many of them were very dirty and needed a good cleaning but I would still wash them before use. The main problem I faced was the roughness. Most of them didn't feel entirely smooth. It's like something is stuck to it and you can feel it when you run your fingers over it. I was afraid this might cause the glass to chip, but that didn't happen. I have tons of ready made glass bowls of different sizes. I use them all the time. They were bought for a project I was working on so most went to other people. I've only kept a few for myself and they've managed to hold up in different ways when I use them.
