I guess you get what you pay for. We bought it for the Christmas/New Year party and it only lasted 1 day and then started causing problems. I had a strange smell that one of the guests said smelled like electrical burns so I was afraid to use it. I don't want the occasional house fire so I sent it back. Amazon quickly refunded the money. This could be an issue with just one product, but I didn't take the risk. we were able to use it within an hour, even though most of the guests had already left the party by then. If your room is very big you need 2 of these to have good lighting but my room is small so only 1 was fine, wish I could keep it because it was a cheap $15 find .
