Reason for ordering: From the photos it looks like it only has one PTT button, just on the mic itself. The one I have just using it, had a PTT button on the radio jack and every time I got in or out of the car it would turn on unless I was very careful because it was being pushed down by the seat cushion. I liked having a second PTT button when I put my coat on over the main PTT, but hated accidental button presses. First observation: The product I received has 2 PTT buttons, one on the microphone and one on the jack, but the way they are designed, the second PTT button is amazing. It's kind of recessed into the slot so the car seat doesn't press on it, but I can still use it easily when wearing my coat over the main PTT button. I've been using it for about a week now and have had no trouble turning it on when getting in and out of my car. Sound quality: excellent. It's decently louder than any other headset I've used and a lot clearer. It seems to cut the static sound in half. I can hear it perfectly in clubs/bars or on the street and I haven't even cranked it all the way. Physical Quality: Fairly good. The cords don't feel as "tough" as my last headset, but they're still good quality and they're much longer, making them easier to slip in and out of your shirt. It stays connected to the radio without using a set screw, which is handy for me to be able to pull it off quickly. The microphone/tangent is of very good quality, yet light and small with a nicely textured button. Conclusion: For now I think it was a great purchase and I will definitely buy another one in the future, especially at a reasonable price. I've bought $10 and $20 headsets in the past and there has always been at least one problem. I also want to reiterate that the sound quality on this thing is superb, the best I've heard. The only downside I can think of is the shirt clip for the headphone tube, it doesn't have prongs to hold it in place but then again I haven't had any issues with it slipping off so I guess it doesn't have to big is a deal. I will update if there are any issues with the product.
