We had grandchildren on our way to a 7 o'clock vacation destination. We stopped at a seating area and unplugged the cord from the DVD player which somehow got caught on the door. It didn't break, but there were exposed wires, but that was enough to stop the DVD. We visited three shops in the area where we were on vacation and we had no luck but everyone said you must go to the Amazon. So we found this one and had it delivered to our resort within 2 days. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that I wish it had a retractable cord. The 5ft cord is handy because it eliminates the problem of it being pinched by the door again, but it's now much better researched and added the problem of someone in the front seat accidentally unplugging it from the DVD player itself . However the DVD player works as it should and keeps the peace with my 13 year old granddaughter and 9 year old grandson (once they agree on which DVD to watch).
