Review on πŸŽ„ Holiday Joy - 1 Light Candle Candoliers Extra Bulbs: The Perfect Electric Window Candle Lamp and Christmas Decoration (1 Light) by Melissa Brown

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Fragile, cheaply made - but came as described

I have a lot of large windows so this one was either cheap or double the price. Let's waive all the disadvantages for now. CONS: Yes, the plastic is flimsy (thin). The base is made from almost paper thin cardboard which is almost unusable and half of it fell out. The cables are short, extensions are required. The candelabra is light, so it's hard to keep still. No timer, on/off switch or dusk and dawn sensors. In short, no fillers. PROS: First, they look festive as holiday symbols and designs are molded onto the plastic. So at least they look better than the more expensive offerings. All bulbs work, there are no shorts or breaks. Each chandelier has two bulbs already screwed into the 1st and 3rd candle. Each box contained 4 bulbs. 1 goes to the middle (high) candle and three extra. Nobody has disappeared. They stand in the windows and have been illuminating the street for a week. Overall, it's still not bad, and at least some of the downsides can be overcome. I bought a dueling set of timers and some cheap extension cords. This economically solves the problem of short cables and automatic on/off switching. It's relatively easy to draw a simple pattern and cut out the thicker base, glue in some rocks for weight and glue the new base back on. If you have felt or velvet lying around you can glue these to the top of the cardboard for a 'nice touch'. You can even get some gold, red, green paint and get creative with the design. You might even be able to get kids to help out and "make" memories. In other words, do what our grandparents did and let them do it.

Pros
  • 1 spare bulb included: 2 bulbs total per box
Cons
  • Nothing included
