I bought this camera because of the good reviews for low light use and it did not disappoint. I used my previous camera at my kids' big prom and most of the shots were very dark, even with the flash. I used this camera at the last graduation and the difference was noticeable. No more dark images. It's also small and light. I bought a soft zippered pouch for this and I usually carry it in my purse. It is lightweight and takes up very little space. Great camera, great picture quality and great price.
