Review on 🚚 Optimized Truck Wiring Harness for 1960-1966 Chevy - American Autowire 500560 by Rafael Lee

This wiring harness was just what my truck needed. It was a fairly simple build and the instructions were easy to follow. All wires are clearly identified and have all the required wires in the wire harness for a standard wiring configuration or if the vehicle is modified with HEI, digital temp, fuel pump etc these additional wires are already included. A note, this will take some time. Time. This is not a "weekend" job for one or two people. There are some tools that you must purchase (or rent from Amercian Auto Wire) for crimping. I bought http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0050KDKUC/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_11 for crimping and they worked fine for most crimps, but I've had to settle for some larger connectors that didn't crimp very cleanly. . I'm sure the ones they rent are better and probably less of a headache. You will also need a good stripping tool from Klien http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BC39YFQ/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_21 These stripping tools did a good job. I also bought some Scapa Friction Tape which hid any exposed wiring (it took two 60ft rolls to get the job done) and it looked very professional. One final note: American Auto Wire has great customer service. I've never had a problem getting in touch with a live, knowledgeable person within 1 minute. They stayed with me and helped fix the taillight problem which turned out to be a defect in the new taillights and not the wiring. Great company and product.
