I have played in several bands and been a studio musician for a while but many headphones are not comfortable for me. Also, I can't stand crappy sound, especially uneven spectral response. I've bought many of these pairs over the years (they're great, but over time two teenagers will find ways to tear or lose them and then grab yours when you're not looking). They are durable, comfortable and I haven't found anything that compares in design and quality for the price. Ironically, I find the sound quality to be much better than Beats and some other "famous" brands that put more emphasis on picture quality than sound quality. You can find better sound quality, but you'll put in a lot more.
