I've been using this product for about a week. I have used other casein blends from ON and others. Others state that this product contains pure protein and NAKED 100% provides it. A quick lesson on casein to start my 5 star review. Casein is a slowly digesting milk protein. It has hydrophobic chains which, when in contact with an aqueous environment (e.g. stomach acid), cause the protein to clump together, reducing the surface area and therefore the interaction with catalytic enzymes. Ultimately, this leads to a slowdown in digestion. In theory, casein "hates" water. However, when I first used NAKED Casein, I poured water on the mix (which was initially chalky, gritty, hard and frankly weird), the water bounced off the limestone. Clot. I've never seen anything like this with other casein blends. Wonderful! To my surprise, it blends easier than expected. It gave me the fewest digestive issues of any blend I've tried. I will not return to other casein blends. If you're serious about your nighttime amino high, NAKED Casein is a tremendous value. I can't comment on other NAKED products as they are relatively expensive, but now I'm interested in trying the whey version.
