Review on TrendMiner by Troy Early

We did many tests with different features enabled or disabled in the platform. There were times it slowed down on processing queries that had to run across multiple tables, which was rather surprising as we use SSDs (it's not a high load environment). We ran some of our early tests using the Power BI functionality but had no success. For this reason, we decided to go with other tools. We decided to go with Redash because it offered many useful dashboards and reports when analyzing data using our custom stored processes. The ability to quickly and easily create workflows, and then execute them in real time is very powerful. It's easy to build and maintain your own dashboards as well. I would like to be able to do more with TrendMiner than what we currently have. We are using it to monitor our production line, but it could also be used to monitor customer orders or any other data that you want to track.
