I originally ordered this duvet for my 99 year old mother who sometimes gets cold with the air conditioning on but the delivery turned out to be perfect for me. I had the flu, my fever was between 38 and 43 degrees, and I was so cold I couldn't stop shaking. I wrapped myself in a blanket and the softness of the blanket was so comforting. The blanket kept me warm enough to stop my shivering, but not warm enough to overheat. Besides the comfort this duvet offers, I love the pattern I received. It looks like a large cooked flatbread. After receiving it, I washed it in cold water and tumble dried it on a warm setting. It came out of the dryer with no wrinkles, shrunk, or lost its shape. In the first photo, I have this blanket spread out over my kitchen table and 4 chairs so you can get an idea of how big it is. In the last picture I tried to close up the stack so you can see how soft it is. Needless to say I love this duvet and would definitely recommend it. She watches TV in the living room. She always smiles when we put her on. This blanket is so soft and cozy without the weight of a heavy blanket. In the last photo is my mother with a blanket on her shoulders.
