Should really read me before you buy

I gave this review one star in the hope that smart buyers could read and believe this HONEST review - because it's actually four stars and I'm paying FULL PRICE right now Paid for my second pair. That's right, they offer a discount for high ratings. But I do not care. Firstly, before using magnetic eyelashes, if you are allergic to metal, be very careful or change your mind. The truth is, magnetic lashes may just not be for you. I know this is hard to hear, but a common misconception is that people say "there are magnets in eyeliner" and there aren't. Real lashes have magnets attached, but liquid eyeliner has metal/alloy components that PULL the magnets to the lashes. You have to keep in mind that these are metal/metal derivatives. Therefore, if you are sensitive, you may experience irritation or inflammation. Second, four stars, not because they're faulty/not working, but because no matter how you cut the liner, it's incredibly difficult to remove no matter what. The method you will try. Third, for those who get sticky or sticky eyeliner, consider your climate. Living in a very warm place can directly affect the quality and consistency of your cosmetics. Since cosmetics are not food, they are not necessarily temperature controlled like other products. Living in Washington, I'm pretty confident about that. Fourth, when applying eyelashes, you must first apply regular powder to the eyelids so that they blend together well. I then personally apply a base coat of regular liquid liner and let it dry so the magnetic liner doesn't touch my real lashes and my real lash line is nice and dark against the waterline. I then immediately apply a thin layer of mascara BEFORE APPLYING THE MAGNETIC LINER to my natural lashes. When I use light powder on my lids, I either dust my lashes or apply black powder to them to cover the fallen light powder before applying the magnetic false lashes. Any points of light are transparent. When they say you need to add "a thicker coat of magnetic eyeliner" to properly hold the lashes, they mean WIDTH, not DEPTH. Lay a line on the dried regular liner. let it dry Then apply a second coat JUST ABOVE the first dry coat. (Take up more space on the lid by NOT layering directly on top of each other). Finally, after these steps are complete, I bring the magnetic lashes right ABOVE the base of my regular lashes and gently slide them down as close as possible. to my eyelid to be as close as possible to my natural lashes and they really blend in! I know it sounds long but trust me folks the results CAN really be worth it without spending a million bucks and the more you practice the faster it will happen. I love that I can switch lashes whenever I want without having to redo everything!
