I create content – text and images. I also write software. I bought it to put it in portrait mode and it works great for my needs. I can have over 120 lines of code on one screen. I can easily search 110 rows of a table. The screen is comfortable, lightweight and very bright. I purchased a third party monitor stand for portrait mode (Visa 75mm mount required). The cables I needed came with the monitor. I can't find anything online about who actually made the screen - but at this price and quality I don't care. My only minor complaint is that the power cord from the transformer to the monitor is a bit short, forcing me to leave the power adapter on my desk. But that's all, I'm very glad I took a chance with this unknown brand.
