Let's be honest - okay? An aging body (65 years and older) the average woman might need a little help. As a pro-ager at 65, not an anti-ager, my mission is to project a positive and fun image of an "older" woman! I'm fed up with the "old lady" cliché that's often imposed. We do NOT wear swimsuits with skirts below the hips. (at least most of us). We all don't have waist-high boulders (many of us do). We want to break the offensive stereotype and wear positive clothing, including a swimsuit. Bees from stress overeating during this pandemic. And many of us have gotten a big belly because of menopause. However, this is no reason not to look good at the beach, in the lake, in the pool or while traveling at a resort. Which brings me to this ridiculously flattering swimsuit! toned body, I thought, hmmm. Since it's advertised as "slim belly," this woman may actually be 35 pounds heavier and the swimsuit slims her tummy. Also, the style was very chic and flattering. But - will it work? Yes. I am happy to report that this swimsuit is so perfect in so many ways. Please order your usual size first. In real life I'm an 8 and due to my stress eating I'm balancing at a 10. After considering medium or large I settled on medium. Remember that swimsuits stretch when they get wet, so you want them to fit as snugly as possible. Fit? That's great. I'm just under 5ft 6in. My legs aren't the longest, but I have a long waist. This can cause problems with most one-piece suits. Luckily, this swimsuit fits perfectly. I don't have to pull out the bottom because it's caught between my curvy cheeks, and I don't have to worry about the strong camel heel going up my world of origin from the front of the suit! The fit is absolutely amazing. Does it stay in my stomach? Yes. It does - up to a point. Some of the innards still stick out, but for the most part it soaks up the bad bits. This suit also comes with removable padded cups. Let's talk a little about that. I am a woman with hard cups and watercraft. After several years of breastfeeding and with age, the skin sags somewhat. If you have saggy girls, may I suggest investing in a pair of hard cups because they fit perfectly and give a more flattering and youthful silhouette and help these babes look their best! Looseness is also an additional feature for weight loss. And it's a snippet. Oh my gosh how I love that square neckline. I'll tell you something else. My husband is Parisian. He sees himself as an expert in women's fashion. (rolls eyes) He usually puts a French shrug on every swimsuit I've worn, but. When I got it out of the ocean he gave me his seal of approval and told me that this swimsuit was impressive. So I'm going to surprise him by treating myself to a second one he can pay for! Looks. I understand it's July now and this summer has almost passed us by. But due to circumstances beyond our control, we still have time for sunbathing and swimming! But with the remaining days until fall, all you need is this suit. The comfort is outstanding, as is the fit, which is flattering to boot. And don't even get me started on the price. It's better value and better quality than any junk I've seen in department stores and specialty stores targeting older women or ANY woman. This is a great suit and I'm glad I ordered it.
