The clasps are only slightly larger than the Beacone's, making it a bit difficult (just a little) to get through the grommets on the bag. I do this to avoid damaging the skin around the grommets: press the clasp's pivot arm against the grommet while threading the hook through the hole, then twist the clasp towards the hook to the point of the hook. threads the edge of the bag over the grommet (the opening of the grommet to the edge of the bag should be no more than 1 inch, and 3/4 of that width is pliable material, on my bag it's leather). Otherwise you should add a carabiner for the bag, for example: ASIN B06Y4B7YCN. Overall, I like this strap for its quality, texture, and comfort. I just want them to come in light gold hardware too.
