The jacket quality is good, the zippers are strong the Velcro is done well. I'm not an ice fisherman so I'll be using this as a work jacket. I wanted something waterproof and warm. I live in central California so the coldest is gets usually is maybe 25 overnight but I don't have to deal with snow or anything. I will probably never have to wear the inside jacket along with the outer shell together but, it is nice to have 2 different jackets for different weather conditions. The inside jacket fastens to the outside with clips in each arm and by the back of the neck but is fairly easy removed. No h jackets appear to be waterproof and are comfortable although they do run a little small to me. I can wear xl I'm some jackets and sweaters I got a double xl with this jacket and I'm glad I did a xl would of been to small, the double xl is just the right size.These are just my initial thoughts I will update the review as I get some time wearing the jacket.I've had the jacket over a month now and after wearing it on a daily basis as a work jacket its been great. The past few weeks when I get up and goto work in the early morning there is ice on the windows of my car/grass etc. and the jacket keeps me perfectly warm and comfortable. While wearing both jackets it can get a little hot even at 32 degrees f, but I find I usually bring both the outer and inner jacket with me to work every day. The outer jacket is great for those cold mornings and once it warms up a bit I usually wear the inner jacket the rest of the day.
