I spent $145 for an exam at a supposedly reputable optometrist and spent more on a pair of prescription glasses that ended up being remade three times and I still couldn't see myself squatting down. I took the prescribed 1.75 base magnification without the extra junk they put in there and bought this. I can see again, I can read again, I'm happy again. In short, if you don't know your recipe or haven't tested it (or just can't afford it), it's definitely worth my money. I bet it will be yours too.
