These are shoes without laces. Shoelaces for the show! I can remove the factory laces and add ones that I can knit. Nowhere in the ad or box was this ever explained. So far they fit well and are true to size. But if I ever want a totally relaxed fit for tired feet, I'll have to take them off (or add other strings). You breathe very well. They have more arch than any other shoe I've had before, but I still need to add moderate arch support due to the very high arch.
