Will you be convinced that I have 12 of them that they are great? I have 12 of these - 10 large and 2 small. What made me even look at them? shape and size. I've been unlucky enough to have a built in pantry or even a wall mounted pantry. I don't have a lot of storage space in my kitchen and the tall cabinets don't fit me because I'm short. Luckily I have a decent counter length and they work by stacking them on top of each other in a row of six. I can get to them easily and they slide on the countertop so I don't have to pick them up. When I need a little something, I just lift the front flap and pop in my measuring spoon or small measuring cup. If I need more I can just take the lid off and use the 1 cup measure without messing up the counter. My original set of 2 is over 5 years old. The seals are still perfect and I haven't had any problems with moving parts breaking. They look just as perfect today as they did the day I bought them. I keep everything from standards like 5 pounds. flour and 5 lbs. Sugar in packets with instant sauce mix inside. Yes, those gravy packets are no longer haphazard at the buffet—now it's like a little folder of instant gravy packets. And if, like me, you have a bit of OCD, you can save these packs by expiration date or even (gasp!) alphabetically. I can't imagine my kitchen without these containers.
