The connector is attached to a 1996 Silverado

. The connector was very tight and the two connectors were not mated enough to engage. I also had to bend the electrical pins on the connector to fit together as they didn't line up exactly but closed together so I didn't have to splice wires. The plastic is brittle and I was afraid of breaking it if I wasn't careful when screwing it in, but that didn't happen. All lights are bright and respond faster than original bulbs. Now I hope the LED bulbs will last a long time. It would have been nice if a gasket was included, I reused my old one.
