I deducted a star for the noise because some might think it's too loud but I don't. I can even use it to relieve pain while watching TV, and while it buzzes and buzzes (more or less depending on the speed set), no one has complained that it bothers them. The battery in this thing seems to last forever. I plug it in from time to time, not because it's ever been unplugged, but because I've been using it daily for weeks and I just feel like I should. I mainly use it on the iliotibial band to relax muscles and reduce pain. It's not light, but not too heavy for me to hold sideways. I can hold it fairly well with both hands, so that I can't reach any part of my body. I used to have a blood clot in my leg, it really helps keep circulation going. The attachments make it customizable for a variety of needs, although my favorite is the ball attachment.
