I bought one of these little ones to use as the inner base for a toddler Christmas tree I made last year. I wrapped it in green felt, attached with hot glue, added extra embellishments and Shazam! It could not be better. The smell from this thing is pretty strong - like motor oil, glue and tires in one bottle. Let it air out outside for a few days (or weeks) before use, as I did - luckily the flannel I used seemed to seal in the stench. If you're buying these monsters for outdoors, it doesn't matter.
